INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION
With an utmost pleasure we conclude that in previous period the variety of co-operation with the Red Cross from Germany, and especially from the city of Halle has been made firmer and considerably enriched. Besides the fact that the mentioned organization directed a considrable quantity of humanitarian aid in equipment to the health institutions and to the institution taking care of the elderly, there was also co-operation in exchange of young members and the exchange of insperiances from the areas in which our organizations gain considerable results, which is first aid, life saving in water, the realistic showing of wounds, illnesses and states, and also difusion of Red Cross principles.
 
The co-operation with the Red Cross from Hungary has been broadened. Besides the Bekes County, there has been started a sucessful co-operation with the County of Fejérmegye, with the cities of Székesfehérvár and Dunaújváros. Especially outstanding is the co-operation in the field of education of young members in programs of life saving in water. There has been performed an exchange of young members of various age during the summer programs which resulted in making new friendships.
Since 1997 there is a successful co-operation with the Natonal Society of Red Cross of Macedonia which contributed a great deal to the development of life saving in water in our organization. Since January 2001 the co-operation with the organization of Ohrid Red Cross of the Red Cross of Macedonia has been broadened.
In September, an official co-operation with the Red Cross of Switzerland , the city of Geneva, has been established. With this organization a special attention will be paid to the co-operation in the fields of education and care for the youth. They will be engaged during summer as volunteers in specialized institutions for protecting of children (Kolevka). This co-operation is realized on reciprocity principle. In December, the official co-operaton has also been established with the Red Cross of Great Britain, the city of Berkshire.

Details of this co-operation are still being elaborated. During the year 2001, our organization was visited by a delegation from this organization for the purpose of exchanging the experience and concluding on the plan of immediate co-operation in the following period.In future period, a co-operation with the two more organization from the ex-Yugoslavia is going to be established. Those are: the Banja Luka Red Cross from Bosnia/Hercigovina and Slovenske Konice Red Cross from Slovenia
