YOUNGSTERS
The young
persons which gathered the Red Cross Subotica has been
organized in February 1999 under the name Youth club.
The club had 70 members, mostly the members of the first
aid team, water rescue service, and realistic showing
of wounds and diseases. The Youth club gave a considerable
contribution during war time 1999, by realising the
trainings in firts aid for the citizens, schools, companies,
etc. Besides they were on tour of duty and took active
part in all the activities of the the Red Cross Subotica,
and also wentout to the field which was bombed.

On November
4th, 2000 a meeting was held on which the Management
of the Youth of Red Cross Subotica was formed. The incease
of the membership caused the widening of the activities
of the Youth, so that besides the areas presend so far,
Psychological support and the Mobile team are added.

Today, the
Youth of Red Cross Subotica has 180 members who take
active part in all the activities of this humanitarian
organization. They also take part in organizing and
realizing the Youth Ball (the first weekend in February),
first aid training and realistic showing of wounds and
diseases, safeguarding, of the swiming areas during
summer, organizing of summer camps for youngsters, etc.
The Young Members of the Subotica Red Cross is since
October 2001 organized as the Fundamental Organization
of Red Cross "Dr. Slobodan Pantelic"
